How does the iTero scanner work?

With the use of a small, handheld scanner (called a ‘wand’), your dentist will take thousands of pictures of the inside of your mouth. The images are sent to the computer and rendered to create a 3D model of your teeth. Your dentist can use this model to assess your dental needs and determine what treatment options are available to you to give you the best possible outcome.
