Update from Blyton Dental

We, the team here at Blyton Dental, hope you and your loved ones are keeping safe and well. We have missed you and look forward to welcoming you back to the clinic.  As we all are getting used to the "new normal" way of life, we plan to reopen in a 'phased' manner from early June and will be following certain  protocols and procedures.

You will see some changes when you come in for your next visit. These are important to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.Over the last few weeks we have been able to source adequate amounts of enhanced Personal Protective Equipment and have been fine tuning our 'Standard Operating Procedures' in line with the recommendations from various health care agencies.

The priority for appointments at this stage would be for patients whose treatments had to be abruptly discontinued  during the course of this pandemic and all our existing patients with dental problems.  Many of you have contacted us with a wide range of problems over the last couple of months. Please call us on 01427 628999 or email us to hello@blytondental.co.uk to book an appointment if you haven’t already done so.

The most obvious difference in our mode of functioning in this immediate post COVID phase would be, now you will need an appointment to enter the practice.
While booking your appointment over the phone, our reception staff will ask you certain screening questions. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire with the same questions and any updates in your medical history when you attend the appointment and have your temperature recorded with a hand held forehead thermometer.

We will ask you to use the hand sanitizer kept in reception. You will find these in many other places in the practice to use as needed.

You will be provided with a face mask which is to be worn whilst in reception, and then again after treatment before leaving the practice. It would be helpful if you would bring your own pen to fill in any paperwork .

Please use a card /contactless methods for payments where ever possible.

Some of the team will be dressed in masks and surgical gowns, which is a part of our enhanced infection control procedure

We are already highly trained in infection control, and as always ,will maintain these high standards.

Appointments will be managed to allow for adequate social distancing between patients in the surgery and to minimise your waiting time. Please try to attend by yourself unless you need a carer or in case of minor patients.

Thank you for being our patient ,we value your trust and loyalty and looking forward to serving you soon.

Kind Regards

Everyone at Blyton Dental
