Dr Arun Thomas BDS, MFDS RCPS (Glasg), MSc(Cosmetic Rest. Dent.), PG Dip.(Imp Dent)

Dental Surgeon
Dr Thomas graduated with a Bachelors degree in Dental Surgery in 2003.He has worked as a teaching resident in prosthodontics, Oral & Maxillofacial surgery before joining a general dental practice in Gainsborough in 2008 .
Arun is a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons, Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, Glasgow.
Arun has a special interest in Cosmetic & Advanced Restorative Dentistry (which involves Smile Make-Overs, Dental Implantology and Orthodontics .He is a Platinum Invisalign Provider.
He has a Masters Degree in Cosmetic Restorative Dentistry form UCLAN (University of Central Lancashire) and has undergone further post graduate training in the field of Dental Implantology.
Arun is a full member of BACD(British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry) and a certified Invisalign Dentist .He maintains his memberships with AACD(American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry), BDA(British Dental Association) ,ICOI(International Congress of Oral Implantologists)and ADI(Association of Dental Implantology) and has been accepting treatment referrals for cosmetic restorative dentistry and dental implantology cases especially for Full Arch Implant Rehabilitation over the last few years from fellow dentists in Lincolnshire and Humber region.
In his spare time he is a keen photographer and enjoys playing cricket.
Dr Sharon Jacob BDS, MFDS RCPS (Glasg).

Dr Jacob graduated with a Bachelors degree in Dental Surgery in 2007.She was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, Glasgow in 2014 and is currently studying towards a masters degree in general practice
Sharon is a caring person and has a wonderful way with our elderly and nervous patients and continues to maintain an excellent rapport with them.
She is a great listener to her patients and all our patients find her very approachable and understanding.
She has completed a yearlong postgraduate course in cosmetic and restorative dentistry with the renowned dentist, Dr Paul Tipton. She maintains her keen academic interests in the fields of Oral Medicine & Oral Pathology. Sharon is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the University of Birmingham.
On the days she is not working, she is busy with her daughters, Nandita & Tara .
Dr Rajashri Lakshmipathi BDS

Dental surgeon
Dr Lakshmipathi, popularly known as Raj, is a general dental practitioner with a special interest in maxillofacial surgery. Following her graduation in 1996 she did extended training in maxillofacial surgery and has been working as a dentist for over 15 years.
Raj provides a warm persona and welcoming attitude which helps to put people at ease. She has managed to turn around patients' anxieties and phobias surrounding dentistry and many nervous patients have been transformed by Raj.
Straight talking, she involves patients in the decision making process and will give all the information necessary to help patients improve their dental health and hygiene through self care.
She is mum to two boisterous boys, who keep her busy enough so that she has no need to join any fitness classes. She is an excellent cook and always there for family and friends when in need. If she has any time after all of this she enjoys gardening and a stroll down the village.
Dr Brenda Procter BDS

DENTAL SURGEON
Brenda graduated in Newcastle 1990 and has since gained experience in all aspects of general dental practice. Her past roles include Clinical Lecturer with the dental students from Sheffield University, and working in the Urgent Care Clinic in Doncaster treating the most nervous patients.
Brenda has since built up a reputation as a compassionate dentist for treating the most anxious patients. Brenda enjoys helping her patients overcome their fears.
Outside of the surgery, Brenda helps the children at the local jazz club, which she is a board member and chaperone.
Away from work, Brenda enjoys spending time with her three children who are all grown up now and starting out on their own. Brenda enjoys spending time gardening, and being with her dog and cat.
Dr Ruth Wright BDS (Hons)

DENTAL SURGEON
Ruth graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2011 before moving to Staffordshire to complete her foundation training. Ruth has since worked many years as an associate dentist and has caring, relaxed nature making appointments as stress free as possible.
In 2016 Ruth was successful in her application to become an Educational Supervisor and supported newly qualified dentists in their first year of General Practice. Whilst she enjoys all aspects of General Dental Practice, Ruth particularly enjoys treating children and anxious or nervous patients where her patience and calm character is beneficial. Ruth offers a range of aesthetic treatments to patients including Invisalign, tooth whitening and composite bonding enabling them to improve their smile in a minimally invasive way. Ruth is currently developing her skills by studying towards her certificate in operative dentistry which will increase her ability to take on more complex treatments.
Ruth has also completed facial aesthetics training, enabling her to provide anti-wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers such as lip enhancements.
Ruth works part-time at the practice allowing her to spend more time with her husband and three young children.
Mahmoud El Sayed Nabih Salem BDS MFDC RCS Ed

DENTAL SURGEON
Mahmoud qualified with a Bachelor degree in Dental Medicine and Surgery in 2006. He worked as an associate dentist in many dental practices across the UK before joining Blyton in 2022. He was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDC RCS Ed.) at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2015.
He always had an interest in Restorative dentistry and gained his Masters’ Degree in Restorative Dental Practice from Eastman Dental Institute at University College London (UCL) in 2020. He also has special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry and Dental Implantology.
Currently, he is studying Implant Dentistry at the British Academy of Implant and Restorative Dentistry in Leeds.
Mahmoud has a very friendly personality, very good listener and passionate about his job.
He is also interested in living a healthy lifestyle and likes to Travel.
Dr Shanti Varghese BDS, MJDF RCS (Eng)

Shanti graduated in 1998 and joined our Scunthorpe practice in February 2022. She has completed an extended training in Prosthodontics and has experience in general dental practice.
She is currently working her pathway towards a Masters degree in Restorative Dentistry at The British Academy of Aesthetic, Restorative and Implant Dentistry.
Away from work, she enjoys spending her time with her family.
Santhi Mary Johnson BDS, MJDF, RCS (Eng)

Santhi graduated with a Batchelors degree in Dental Surgery in 2011. She worked as a demonstrator in the departments of conservative Dentistry and Endodontics and Orthodontics after graduation. She passed her statutory exams in 2015 and has been working in general practice since. She was awarded the membership of joint Dental Faculties in 2018. She likes all aspects of dentistry and has done 2 years extensive training programme under Dr Paul Jipton. She is currently pursuing a masters in Restorative Dentistry at UCL Eastman Dental Institute which will help her manage more complex cases.
Outside of work she loves cooking, travelling and spending time with her very exuberant Labrador Oliver.
Mr. George Markose MBChB, MDS, MFDS.RCPS, FRCS (OMFS)

ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGEON
Mr. Markose is a Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon working at the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust specialising in Head and Neck Cancer and Reconstructive Surgery.
After qualifying in Dentistry in 1998 he completed a Masters programme in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 2004. He was awarded the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2008.
Having dually qualified in Medicine from the University of Manchester in 2011 and completed Higher Surgical Maxillofacial Training in the North West of England. He is GMC accredited on the Specialist Register for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
He is actively involved in teaching undergraduate Medical and Dental students, and mentoring Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery trainees. He is a member of the RCPSG Faculty for training courses for the Membership exams.
He is an Examiner for the University of Manchester Medical and Dental Schools and an Examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
Dr Navdeep Singh Dhinsa BDS

Navdeep studied at The University of Sheffield and graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2021. Navdeep enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. His ethos is based on building patient confidence, reducing dental anxiety and promoting the importance of oral health. Navdeep has a special interest in cosmetic restorative dentistry and is currently working towards completing postgraduate qualifications in this area.
Navdeep ensures that he spends time with all of his patients so high quality dental care is consistently provided.
Outside of the practice, Navdeep enjoys playing cricket, going to the gym and spending time with his family.

Dental Hygienist
Clare qualified from the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital Sheffield in 1995 and now has over 21 years’ experience as an Extended Duties Dental Hygienist.
As a passionate oral health educator, she has attended several courses further expanding her clinical skills and knowledge.
Clare is a warm and enthusiastic member of our team who takes pride in the care of the oral hygiene needs of all our patients and staff. She takes time to treat, empathise and educate all her patients, making them feel comfortable, particularly those who may at first feel nervous.
Outside of work, Clare manages her son’s school Parents & Teacher Association, she is a keen gardener and enjoys visiting the North Yorkshire Moors for adventures with her family.
Samantha Airey Dip Dent Hygiene & Therapy

Sam qualified as a hygienist from Charles Clifford in 1995, and also did a therapy conversion qualification in Salford in 2010
Sam worked in community dental for 6 years and dealt with a lot of special needs patients and children.
Sam also worked as a dental nurse in the Navy.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys walking and going away in her caravan.
Emily Joy BSc Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy

Emily began her career in dentistry in 2018 as a dental nurse, where she spent six years gaining invaluable experience in patient care. She went on to qualify as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist from the University of Leeds in 2024.
Emily is passionate about helping patients feel at ease in the dental chair and enjoys taking the time to provide education on oral health and prevention, enabling patients to maintain healthy, confident smiles.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys staying active at the gym, exploring the outdoors through hiking, and watching musicals.
Martin Collins

Martin qualified as a Lab Technician in Leeds in 1986, and joined us at Blyton in September 2023 when we opened our dental lab. He loves learning new techniques to compliment his traditional skills that he has learnt over the years, and often attends courses to help him keep as up to date as possible.
Martin is passionate about his job and takes pride in the work he does.
In his spare time, he has various hobbies and he has always been a keen sportsman, taking part in playing hockey, cricket, rugby and football.
Martin hopes in the near future to gain his power boat licence.
Emma Ford RDN (National Certificate)

PRACTICE MANAGER
Emma started with us in June 2019 after working at Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust for 9 years in the Emergency Dental Department.
Emma started working as a Dental Nurse in 1993 and qualified in 1997, she went on to complete a Dental Radiography for Dental Nurses course in 2017.
Having worked as a dental nurse at various practices in Suffolk covering NHS, Private and Independent, she progressed into management in 2016. She completed a level 2 certificate in leadership and management skills in 2013. Emma’s focus is patient journey from start to finish and supporting the team to provide a first-class service. Emma keeps her clinical skills up to date so you may see her nursing from time to time. Emma also works in the out of hours emergency service for NHS England evenings and weekends helping patients who don’t have a regular dentist.
In her spare time, Emma enjoys spending time with her family and her two dogs Gizmo and Dexter.
Maree Stamp RDN (NVQ Level 3)

Dental Nurse MANAGER
Maree qualified in 2011 with a level 3 NVQ in dental nursing and then furthered her knowledge with a BDA Education Certificate in Dental Radiography in 2014.
Maree started with us in August 2020. She has extensive knowledge in general practice and exceptional patient care, taking pride in patient satisfaction. Maree has a keen interest to learn more on the cosmetic and implants side of dentistry.
Maree is also responsible for the clinical day-to-day running of all the surgeries across both practices.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family and dogs called Gloria and Ralphie. Maree also enjoys arts and crafts and camping with her family.
Leanne Wilson RDN

SENIOR Dental Nurse
Leanne qualified in 2008. She brings with her national certificate in Dental Nursing, and furthered her knowledge with the BDA Education certificate in Dental Radiography in 2014.
Leanne started with us in September 2021 and has gained extensive knowledge over her 12 years of dental nursing in general practice. Leanne is keen to expand her knowledge in implants and cosmetic treatments.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family and tend to her allotment.
Susan Dobbs
SENIOR Receptionist
Susan started with us at Blyton Dental in October 2019 and comes from a dental background and has been in the dental sector for 15 years. Susan works part-time and is the face of the practice and always endeavours to put patients at ease at their first port of call. Empathetic and caring, Susan is patient-centered and strives to offer a first-class service to anyone who attends Blyton Dental.
In her spare time, Susan likes to spend time with her daughter and husband, and enjoys going to the cinema and the theatre.
Rebecca Rainbow
Receptionist
Rebecca started with us at Blyton Dental Scunthorpe in February 2022 and was working previously as a dental receptionist. Rebecca works full-time and enjoys challenging herself with new knowledge and implementing new ideas and takes pride in her role. Rebecca is patient-centered and strives to offer a first-class service to anyone who attends Blyton Dental.
In her spare time, Rebecca likes to crochet for her house, watch science fiction shows, read comics and books, travel and bake.
Helen Rawson

Helen started with us at Blyton Dental in December 2021, you will see her at both the Blyton and Scunthorpe practices on reception. Helen works part-time and is enjoying expanding her knowledge in dentistry and takes her role very seriously. Helen strives to offer first-class service, and is always happy to help make patients feel at ease.
In her spare time, Helen likes to spend time with her two children and partner.
Katie Dodds

Katie joined Blyton Dental in June 2023, she works full time at our Scunthorpe Practice.
Katie is keen to expand her knowledge in dentistry and takes her role very seriously. She has excellent patient care and strives to put every patient at ease.
In her spare time, Katie is very active and enjoys playing badminton and going cycling. She is a keen reader and loves a good series on the telly. She has two pet guinea pigs called Kiki and Pablo.
Jade McMahon

Jade joined our team at Blyton Dental Practice in October 2023, as a part-time receptionist at Scunthorpe.
In her personal time, Jade is very active. She enjoys swimming on a weekly basis and loves to go on long walks with her dog Rosie.
Jade is very family-orientated and enjoys quality family time with her children.
Michelle Cook-Darker RDN

Michelle qualified in 2004 with a NEBDN national certificate in dental nursing, and also qualified in 2005 with the NEBDN certificate in radiography.
Michelle started with us at Blyton Dental in October 2021, since qualifying, Michelle has been working in general dentistry for over three decades. Michelle works part-time on our reception at Blyton and will welcome you to the practice and put you at ease straight away.
In her spare time, Michelle likes to spend time with her two children and partner, the dog Badger and cat Pudsy.
Lianne Fox RDN (NVQ Level 3)

Lianne qualified in 2014 with a level 3 NVQ in dental nursing and then furthered her knowledge with a BDA Education Certificate in Dental Radiography the following year.
Lianne started with us in April 2017. Since qualifying, she has had experience with general dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery procedures and implant placement. She particularly enjoys keeping everyone entertained, making sure everyone leaves with a smile. Lianne mentors our trainee nurses, and mentors the nurses in Implant training.
In her spare time Lianne likes to keep busy with her four legged family, and socialise with her friends and family.

Fiona joined Blyton Dental in October 2018. She brings with her national certificate in dental nursing, over thirty years of experience within dentistry and has a passion for what she does.
Her career started in general dentistry but her interests saw her move towards oral surgery in which she has worked for the last five years.
Fiona has an interest in patient management during difficult extractions and biopsies. Her demeanour and positive, supportive way with patients means that she is a vital support during the patient journey.
In her down time, Fiona loves nothing more than spending time with her family which includes her husband, three children and two grandchildren, cooking and travelling.

Rebecca qualified in 1999, and furthered her knowledge with the National Certificate in Radiography and Oral Health Education in 2006.
Rebecca started with us in October 2020. She is very enthusiastic to provide the best patient experience, and always has a smile on her face. Rebecca has started her training in implants, and is looking forward to gaining more experience.
In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family and friends. Rebecca also enjoys regular exercise and Zumba classes.

Emily qualified in 2019 with City & Guilds Level 3 dental nursing.
Emily started with us in June 2021, and has been working in general practice since 2016. Emily has a keen interest in furthering her knowledge and has studied dental radiography.
In her spare time, she likes meeting up with her friends, and walking her dog called Zeus. Emily is also renovating her house which keeps her busy when not at work.
Ellie Bradley RDN

Ellie began dental nursing in 2017 at an oral surgery and general dental practice. Ellie joined us at Blyton in late 2018 and has settled into the team incredibly well. In 2021 Ellie completed her NVQ course, and is now a qualified dental nurse.
Ellie has a keen interest in oral surgery as well as gaining a post qualification in radiography for dental nurses.
Ellie is well organised and our go-to person with computer questions!
In her spare time Ellie says she is a foodie and enjoys trying new foods whenever she can. She's very outdoorsy and likes to go to the Peak District for long walks and fresh air. As well as her walking and spending time with her two children, she likes to keep fit at the gym and enjoys socialising with her friends.
Kelly-Marie Nelthorpe RDN

Kelly started dental nursing in 2015 and qualified in 2018. She joined Blyton Dental in 2022 and works full time at our Scunthorpe practice. Kelly is keen to expand her knowledge and is currently training to be a radiographer.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She has a big love of horses and spends a lot of time caring for her two horses Winston & Beau.
Rosalyn Taylor RDN

Ros qualified in 1998 and joined us at Blyton Dental in August 2022. Ros works 4 days a week, and you will find her working at both our practices. She is keen to learn and progress and has now taken on the role of treatment coordinator. She has extensive knowledge in general and cosmetic dentistry, implants and is a qualified radiographer.
In her spare time, she is busy with spending quality time with her husband and two children who love to play football. Ros loves a bit of retail therapy and is currently learning how to play golf.
Laura Kitchinson

Laura qualified in 2017 with a NVQ level 3 in dental nursing, she then joined Blyton Dental in July 2023. Laura works 4 days at our Blyton practice. She has excellent patient skills and is a very competent nurse, with a keen interest in cosmetic and more complex treatments such as implants. Laura is keen to continue learning and is enrolled on the BDA radiography course.
In her spare time Laura loves to socialise with her friends and partner, she enjoys music and loves to attend concerts and festivals. She also enjoys horse racing and is a keen Chelsea supporter.
Olivia Hill

Olivia joined Blyton Dental in March 2022 as a trainee dental nurse at the Blyton practice. She is full-time and in September 2023, she completed her NVQ level 3 course. Olivia is keen to learn and interested in expanding her knowledge into radiography.
Olivia is full of life and loves to socialise with her friends and family. She has a keen interest in dance and is very active and regularly goes to the gym and for long walks with the family dog Ralphie.

Shania joined Blyton Dental in 2022 as a trainee dental nurse, and works full time at our Scunthorpe practice. She is keen to learn and is very interested in all dentistry especially oral surgery.
Outside of work, Shania loves spending time with her partner and family labrador Sky. She is keen on walking and going to the gym. She has a keen interest in baking, following Formula 1 and listening to Taylor Swift.

Trainee Dental Nurse
Macy joined Blyton Dental in July 2023 as a full-time trainee dental nurse at our Scunthorpe practice. She is young and enthusiastic and extremely keen to lean and expand her knowledge into dentistry.
In her spare time, Macy loves to shop, spend time with her boyfriend and has a keen interest in cooking. She has two pets, her cat Pearl, and her dog Luna.

Ellie joined our team in August 2023 as a trainee dental nurse. She works full time at our Scunthorpe practice. Ellie is extremely enthusiastic and keen to learn all aspects of dental treatment, from general dentistry to all the complex treatments we offer.
In her personal time, Ellie has many interests. She loves to travel and looks forward to having trips and holidays booked. She lives an active life and spends time at the gym, and enjoys hiking with her partner.
Ellie really appreciates good food and enjoys going to nice restaurants and trying different cuisines.
