Welcome to the winter 2022 edition of our practice newsletter. As always, it’s been an incredibly busy year!
The 16th of November marked our seventh anniversary since opening our doors to the public. During those seven years we have welcomed over 13,000 patients at our practices in Blyton and Scunthorpe. Thank you so much for all your support.
At the beginning of the year, we welcomed Mahmoud Salem, who has a special interest in dental implants, Invisalign and smile makeovers, including composite bonding. Shortly after, Shanti Varghese joined us at Scunthorpe, and has a particular interest in dentures.
In October, we welcomed Santhi Johnson to the team, who offers Invisalign and composite bonding treatments. Both Mahmoud and Santhi are based at our Scunthorpe branch and work Saturdays, while George Wright continues to work Saturdays in Blyton.
Last month, George Markose joined us as a Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, offering removal of third molar teeth (wisdom teeth) and is also based at our Scunthorpe branch.
We also welcomed several new faces to our team of dental nurses. Kelly and Ros have joined us as qualified dental nurses, while Olivia and Shania are trainee nurses currently doing their NVQ in dental nursing. Ellie returned from maternity leave in September after having a lovely boy called Edward in December 2021. Sadly, we waved farewell to our nurse Kimberley in November, and we wish her well for the future. Helen and Rebecca have also joined our ever-expanding reception team.
We are delighted to welcome all of our new team members and wish them all a very happy future with us.
Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to wish all our patients a Merry Christmas and send our very best wishes for 2023.
