Welcome to the winter 2024 edition of our practice newsletter.
As always, it’s been an incredibly busy year! The 15th of November marked our ninth anniversary since opening our doors to the public. During these nine years, we have welcomed over 16,000 patients at our practices in Blyton and Scunthorpe. Thank you so much for all your support!
In May, we had our first open day at our Scunthorpe practice, which was a huge success. We plan to have another open day in May 2025 to welcome more new and existing patients to discuss their dental needs.
Our on-site prosthetics laboratory is now in full swing and is doing great. We have also added a digital area to the laboratory with a 3D printer and a CAD-CAM milling machine, which allows us to create our own crowns and temporary implant bridges on site.
We welcomed Dr Laura Carr who is offering sedation to our very nervous patients and doing our complex root canal treatments. She is also accepting referrals from other practices. We also welcomed Jade to our ever-expanding reception team.
Congratulations to Ellie and Shania for passing their dental nursing exam, and to Laura and Olivia who passed their radiography exam. We are delighted to welcome all of our new team members and we wish them all a very happy future with us.
