This gentleman came to us with an inability to chew properly with his remaining teeth.
He used to work away form home for many years and has never had the chance to visit a dentist on a regular basis. Most of his remaining teeth were mobile and worn out.
We planned to rehabilitate his entire dentition with implant supported bridges. We designed a provisional bridge based on the data from a CBCT scan, digital 3D impressions and clinical photographs. All his teeth were extracted and implants were placed.
We made immediate provisional provisional bridges based on the pre-operative design. This was later converted to Zirconia/Graphene implant Bridges four months later. He was very happy with the difference this has made to his smile and chewing ability.
Full arch implant rehabilitation has come a long way in the last few years. We can now show the patient how the prosthesis will look even before extracting any teeth. We seldom use the gooey impression materials as the digital impressions are far more accurate and comfortable.
