This gentleman had a frightening experience at the dentist when he was very young.
It left him feeling anxious about dental treatment and he attended only occasionally over the years.
By the time he felt ready to seek help, his teeth had deteriorated significantly.
He finally found the courage to come to us and ask what could be done.
Unfortunately, his remaining teeth could not be restored and he also had significant bone loss.
We planned his new smile using detailed clinical photographs and cone beam CT scans.
His remaining teeth were removed, implants were placed, and a provisional implant bridge was fitted.
We also carried out soft tissue augmentation to help address areas affected by the bone loss.
After four to five months of healing, we replaced the provisional bridge with zirconia implant‑supported bridges.
He was delighted with his new smile and the outcome of his treatment.
