A life-changing upgrade from dentures to a fixed smile.
This patient came to us with pain around his old implant overdenture, which had been fitted elsewhere several years ago.
Due to smoking and challenges with oral hygiene, three of the four upper implants could not be saved, though we successfully retained one.
We placed additional implants in the upper jaw and new implants in the lower jaw, restoring his smile with fixed full-arch implant bridges.
Now, there’s no denture, no palate covering the roof of his mouth, and he can enjoy food comfortably again.
Even better, he has since stopped smoking and feels far more confident with his new smile.
While implant overdentures can work well, sometimes a fixed solution is the best long-term option.
