This gentleman came to see us after struggling with dentures for several years.
Despite his efforts, he had never been able to get on with them and had previously been told that he had very little soft bone, making him unsuitable for dental implants.
After a full assessment and 3D CT scans, we found that there was sufficient bone to offer him a fixed solution with All‑on‑X implant bridges.
Understandably, he was extremely anxious about dental treatment following some difficult experiences in the past.
We therefore carried out the surgical stage under sedation, placed his implants, and fitted a fixed set of temporary teeth.
After four months of healing, we were able to replace these with his final fixed implant bridges.
The transformation wasn’t just about his smile.
For him, the biggest difference is no longer having to wear removable dentures.
He now has a fixed set of teeth that allows him to smile, speak, and eat with confidence.
And perhaps just as importantly, after everything he had experienced previously, he is no longer frightened of coming to the dentist.
